Meet Alex McQueen
Alex McQueen is a certified breathwork facilitator and founder of Breath Odyssey, working between Australia and the UK. He is a graduate of the Breathguru Training & Mentoring Programme, having completed 300 hours of facilitator training with Alan Dolan in Conscious Connected Breathwork.
My Story
My journey into breathwork began in 2009 when studying for my Bachelor of Dramatic Arts at the Victorian College of the Arts, one of Australia's top drama schools. My foundational training as an actor encompassed various techniques including Qigong, Feldenkrais Method, Yoga, Pranayama and Alexander Technique, all of which helped me harness the power of breath to improve my performance and well-being.

A fortuitous trip to Soneva Resort in the Maldives in 2023 led me to a life-changing session with renowned breathwork expert Alan Dolan, where I was introduced to Conscious Connected Breathwork. It was nothing short of a revelation. After one 80 minute session I felt a greater connection to my body than I had felt in years. I was grounded and embodied, energised and yet deeply calm. The session provided unexpected clarity and a profound shift in my career path, inspiring me to become a breathwork facilitator and help others experience similar transformations.

Since then, I have witnessed the incredible benefits of this practice firsthand. My clients have experienced quieter minds, energised bodies, and a deeper sense of self-connection. The latin word for 'to breathe' is 'inspirar', and was used in reference to divine and supernatural beings imparting a truth or idea to someone. My mission is to inspire my clients through the simple yet powerful practice of breathwork, to optimise their health, their performance and their relationship with themselves and others. I am committed to sharing this powerful practice with as many people as possible, guiding them towards a more balanced, fulfilling, and inspired life.
